“Fighter” Set for Blockbuster Debut with Strong Advance Booking

The highly anticipated film “Fighter,” featuring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, is set for a blockbuster box office debut, driven by exceptional advance-booking collections. According to a report on sacnilk.com, the movie’s first-day advance-booking revenue reached approximately ₹2.9 crore.

The advance-booking statistics reveal that “Fighter” has already sold 88,190 seats for its opening day in India. Notable sales have been reported in states like Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. With three days remaining until its release, the film’s advance ticket sales are anticipated to surpass ₹3 crore.

Film industry insider Taran Adarsh shared the advance booking report on Twitter, stating, “Fighter advance booking report: For its opening day – All India tickets sold – 90K National chains (PIC) – 40K. Total advance-booking Gross – ₹3 Crore. My new prediction is ₹28 Cr +/- 2 crores…”

Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, “Fighter” is scheduled for release on Republic Day Eve. The film’s plot revolves around the formation of a new elite squad called Air Dragons, commissioned by the Air Headquarters in response to militant operations in the Srinagar valley. Described as a tribute to the valour, sacrifice, and patriotism of the Indian military services, “Fighter” has generated significant buzz and anticipation.

Speaking at the trailer launch, Siddharth Anand expressed his gratitude, saying, “Come on 25 January to cheer and enjoy the film. We have given our all. It’s not an easy film. I’ve made a good number of action pictures, but this has been a whole different experience.”

Hrithik Roshan, acknowledging the collaborative effort, commented, “Thank you, universe, for surrounding me with crazy, insane, passionate humans… for the opportunity to work with someone as crazy, as passionate as Sid Anand, and to be as courageous, passionate, and insane as Anil sir.” As expectations soar, “Fighter” seems poised for a resounding success at the box office.
